Background to wordserver
Wordserver is online website content management software that was designed, developed and coded entirely by astutech. The software originated in 2001 and was developed for the purpose of writing, formatting, and uploading documents and articles automatically to websites using a simple online interface – hence the name wordserver. The first website to use the software was alancampbellmp.co.uk for publishing press notices and articles.
Later the software was developed as a complete website software package to include whole-website content management, ecommerce, and database functionality. The philosophy behind the software was to ensure search engine friendly output (pages are HTML or ASP and has proven brilliantly successful), and a user-friendly administration suitable for beginners and experts alike.
We achieved that aim and have a very popular and sophisticated website content management system available and around 200 wordserver websites live today, with users from 9 years old to nearly 90!

The overall cost of wordserver depends on your requirements and design options, but a typical website with a bespoke design option will cost from around £950 + VAT. To add a product database (optionally linked to PayPal for ecommerce) will cost around £500 + VAT additionally with database set-up and template design.
