WordPress is open source website software and is free to use. You can set it up yourself or ask a specialist agency like astutech to set it up and or manage it for you. There is a fee for set-up, for sourcing and adapting your design theme, and for adding your content. Premium themes and non-standard features like ecommerce will cost more and may require additional fees payable to the original developer.
You can save money by adding your own content, but many customers leave this to us to ensure it is all spot-on from launch. Following launch customers will usually write their own blogs and articles, and you can continue to concentrate on social marketing such as Facebook and Twitter.
Typically our service to get you launched for the first year with a standard set of pages and content costs from £750 + VAT. There is a subsequent annual fee for hosting, email and support of £150 + VAT.
